I apologize in advance to my readers (and family) currently frozen elsewhere, but the cold weather finally broke this last week in the Bay Area so we headed to Sweeney Ridge for a hike.
I’m in love with the textures which occur when nature begins to reclaim what humans have put in the way. Lichen on metal, slowly oxidizing in the ocean air. Moss thriving in asphalt cracks.
I also went to the Edwardian Ball on saturday, which was a lot of fun but very crowded.
